Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes Mascara.

Now the reason that I first decided to purchase this product was because of the wand. I just thought that it was really unique, and such a good idea because I can never seem to get those short lashes with the standard mascara wand design. The packaging is gorgeous too, and I'm always a sucker for gorgeous packaging!

The formula in my opinion is actually very good. It lengthens my eyelashes and dries quickly. It doesn't feel or look clumpy at all and I'm very happy with it in general. If you're looking for volume, I wouldn't purchase this mascara because I'd say it gives you more of a long, clean separated lash appearance - it also reaches all those hard to cover areas which pleases me even more since that's the reason I decided to purchase it in the first place.

                                       

I know there are a lot of people who don't like this look when it comes to mascara but personally I love it. I like the 'spidery' lash effect just as long as it doesn't look absolutely ridiculous and clumpy! This mascara really is a winner for me, but at the price I'd say it'd be a lot better if it was cheaper (what product wouldn't?) And also I guess it could be a little bit of a health hazard if you poke yourself in the eye with it! It is kind of time consuming trying to coat every single lash, and I understand how some people will find it difficult to use. Another dislike I have for this product is the tip really does need cleaning before you apply it to your lashes or you will end up with clumpy looking eyes, I suppose the same can be said for most mascaras, though. It does it's job so I can't complain too much! I'm happy with this recent purchase. :)
